Hernandez speaks fluent Spanish German & English(With a German accent) which must be why Wagner loves him around the place. The Portuguese speaking Brazilians can get by in Spanish easily & Sara speaks English already, quick learner
On the first stream it was Chris Goreham and Jeremy Goss, who is always excellent. Thanks again Dunc!
There was no PA at all at Carrow Road the whole afternoon. No team announcements, no goal celebration music, no announcing of subtitutes or the singing of On the Ball City, or how much time was being added on, the official attendance or Man of the Match. It was a bit soulless!! The things you sometimes don't realise you have till they are not there...
Chris Goreham commentating rather liked it; a reminder of how it used to be, when you could hear each other speak, the buzz of conversation round the ground, and the self-generated excitement and sense of expectation.
Another win, will be interesting to see how we perform against Millwall, will be a test to see if we can actually do well against someone near the top. Interestingly no draws yesterday in the Championship
Once again Ben captures the essence of the tactics, which seem to be evolving and developing with each match. It's obvious that Wagner and his team work hard to prepare for each match, but as Ben concludes: "Ultimately, it was two moments of brilliance - from former Sao Paulo teammates Gabriel Sara and Marquinhos - which decided the game on Saturday afternoon. While Norwich are tactically far superior now - under David Wagner - than they were under Dean Smith, there are still improvements to be made." This is true, but we also created other good chances that were not taken (eg. Idah through on the keeper, Pukki's clever chip and Tzolis coming in from the left). The goal will boost Marquinos' confidence and help him to integrate into the squad in the absence of Dowell and Sara is thriving on these new tactics.
