tommy tiger fair enough mate and as i said i think bruce is a good manager and he has proven that to be fair i just believe malky will go on to bigger things with or without us.
based on YouTube evidence every player looks great on YouTube !!!!! to be honest I was surprised caulker went to cardiff could of done far better as for the others don't really know a fat lot about them but reckon there won't be much between us come the end of the season .
I think you also spent a **** load more money than us. We had our best player (Aluko) out for most of the campaign. Bruce has managed in the PL and been the best English manager in this division.
Speaking of that, who are the other English managers in the Prem? Because he might be up there among the best...
Adkins is at Reading. So, theres 4 all together including Bruce. Even though there may be bias, i'd say Brucey is best.
Yeah for some reason I forgot that he was no longer at Southampton! I'd agree that Bruce is probably the best out of that quartet.
holy crap i'd not really noticed the dearth of Englishmen representing at Prem level its pretty dire and tho i rate SB its crazy that , yeah he is probably the best Englishman managing a premier league side right now Sam Allardyce , maybe pips him but urgh the competition is pretty stark
I read the subsequent posts to this and was left little puzzled. What do you mean by 'team'? Is that the eleven who start or the whole squad? Many players with different abilities and attitudes who are only there because the manager wants them there (usually). They train and prepare for games in a structure that is created and led by the manager. The match-day team is selected by the manager, as are their tactics; they are substituted by the manager. A team is known as a team of that manager - in the case of Hull City AFC, that is a Steve Bruce team. I think you might have that one wrong; although I'm happy look at it.
I think Cardiff have bought well this window but i also think they have over payed. I'd also be interested to know what there wage bill is, as if they do find themselves in the championship soon they could be in trouble. On the Caulker front I too was surprised they let him go but then looked on the Spurs forum and a few were slating him and certain aspects to his game.
Bruce as a big disadvantage because he hasn't got the funds most of the other premier league managers have including Cardiff who have spent more on one player than we have on all of ours put together. The manager brings the players in which is the hard part but he is limited to what he can do hopefully he can keep us up on a low bud get compared to others
Look at the evidence, I'll let you look, I can't be arsed. Our form was ok whilst Allardyce was out of work. We know he was helping Brown out a lot, as he was photographed in the changing rooms after our win at Wembley. Then he got the job at Blackburn a few months after our start in the PL, which coincided with our slump in form. I know all you Brown arse kissers want to believe he was the messiah, the tactical genius, the conqueror of all. But he wasn't. The Other Phantom on CI put some stats together comparing our points haul when Allardyce was out of work, and once he was in work. There was a stark contrast.
With or Without you Bluebirds? I wonder what BlackAndAmblerGambler thinks about Malky? Come on BAAG, you too, must have an opinion on this surely?

Not really, last season was the first time that both the top two failed to have a player in double figures so they can't have had anybody that great either.
