I'm putting this result firmly on slott.

You can not expect a tram to go out and play psg for a hundred and twenty minutes of full bore football, then expect the same team to then play a cup final.

He's been caught before this season. First 11, my favourites and **** everyone else.

It's not like the ball from tripper was any good.

If anything macallaister ran off burns. Hold him,.drag him,.jump into him.

But after 10 mins they had two and it should have been obvious to the coaches to change ASAP.

Thry had 3 big cbs on the park and could have put quansah out on burns

They should have hauled jota at ht as well.

Pull them all out and set up a warm weather training camp. Re-set and come back like the team of the first 3 months.

The really great teams come into their own at the business end of the season but for the second year in a row, we have simply run out of energy and ideas. I really hope we can get over the line in the Prem because today we were awful

Everyone can say what they want about TAA but you sure as hell see the difference when he doesn’t play.

Yeah he doesn’t defend very well. Yeah he walks off into mid field.

but if you give the guy the ball in our half he’ll get us attacking and cause the opposition problems. He’s world class in that aspect and it massively outweighs his defensive issues.

We’ve been spoilt that we just expect it from him but players have to come and close him down when he gets the ball which opens up space somewhere else. Without him can let Quansah have the ball and do nothing with it (not a dig at Quansah, he’s a cb) and mark the better players like doubling up on Salah.

I'm always willing to admit when we're outplayed, but for me this was just a case of us not turning up, not a particularly good display from them.

I think he has been poorly treated I know he wasn’t fit to begin with but in the brief glimpses we have seen him he has offered something and is not afraid to shoot.

Yeah Jota has been absolutely awful since his return, weeks and weeks offering nothing

I’ll give slot the benefit of the doubt. He’s exceeded all expectations and he obviously has different style from Klopp. Similar enough but different enough that some players that thrived on the heavy metal end to end (Nunez/diaz) just aren’t cut out for the more slow tempo tactical approach.

He didn’t get a proper pre season to assess the squad with disruption to the Europe’s, didn’t get to sign any players bar an opportunistic one in chiesa.

It does seem like this year is sorting out the squad. Who fits into the next 2/3 year plan and who can be moved on and the ones he doesn’t trust and will be moved on he doesn’t really trust enough to start continuously (Elliott, Endo, chiesa, Nunez).

We massively missed Trent today. Need to figure out a solution though as we're probably not going to see him in a Liverpool shirt again (or for a few years at least)

Think it’s clear that in an ideal world we get a new LB like kerkez plus a CM to add some physicality in there. Szogo gets around. Grav gets around, Mac puts his foot in and passes nicely, but none of them can dominate a midfield and it’s something missing. That pace and power to impose on a midfield.

I think it’ll change. We won’t focus on using TAA as he won’t be here. It’s why I think we’re linked with kerkez who will be a runner up and down the left to focus on using that and maybe a Gomez type to be that 3rd cb instead

Twice today the ball rebounded to Darwin on the 6-yard line and he couldn't control it. We saw in one move that, although a long way from the player of four years ago that shone in the Euros, Chiesa's touch and innate skill is immeasurably better than Darwin's.

Bradley would have made a difference in the RB slot today. Would have been more adventurous in getting forward, which would have pushed the Newkie left side back.
Plus he's alot quicker than Quansah

I think Grab, Mac and szlob ate great as a 3, but they don't get rested enough. They're ****ing knackered.

Our legs have gone, and we look shot. If we go into that difficult last month only 6 points ahead and with Arsenal still to play, then don't bet your house on it. Need to win the derby then get 10 points out of 12 in the rest of the games in April. I say again, that league is not over.

    I'm unsure

Endo was a stop gap, but is more than capable in a limited 6 position.

Elliot is a fantastic player, much better than jones, he's a star in the making, if we lose him because slott has the grump for some odd reason, we will regret it.

Chiesa is class, its obvious, touch movement finishing is absolutely top notch. He will replace mo next season.

Darwin? When was the last time you heard a liverpool manager come out and publicly criticise a player. To moan about his work rate and desire was a massive mistep.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very impressed with slott but at times his in experience at a top club shows
