New here so be nice ;)

Now that we have signed Jack Cork. From what ive seen he's better at CM. So i thnk our Cm's should be Cork and schneiderlin (cant spell it) who would this leave to be captain with hammond on the bench?
Personally i think Fonte
Thoughts?
 
Davis feels that he is not effective at being captain due to the nature of his position thus why he is 'club captain' fonte I think will be our captain next season! And welcome along!
 
Never liked keeper captains. The captain should be within earshot of all the players at all the time. If everyone is back defending, the keeper has more than enough on his plate than to be geeing people up etc.

Hammond will probably stay captain, as long as he stays in the side. To re-open an age old 606 and this forum debate, for me, Hammond does more for the team than Scheiderlin does. Spiderman had a good last two games of the season, but until he is more consistent, he's not first choice in midfield for me.
 
Schneiderlin is king. No one in the side can pass a ball like him.

Back Pass Hammond will be no more than a squad player in the Championship.

Agree Fonte for Captain.
 
If Hammond isn't in the team, Fonte makes perfect sense. CB captains work fine for me, got the best view of the whole field provided the keeper knows what they're doing without instruction. Very good player so the others will respect him, and the fans love him too.
 
When Hammond arrived they made him captain right away so what about Cork as skipper?
Personally I would rather have Fonte.
 
Hammond throws a lot in for us and should remain captain. Like i've said before, it is possible for Hammond, Sniders and Cork to all be in the team together. If Adkins should drop Deano, then yes, Fonte

Yes, but that was because it was a whole new team at the time full of new regulars who had just been bought in
 
Why is everyone knocking Deano. If he doesn't do it then fair enough, but he's the skipper until NA drops him. I keep saying, you must have someone in the team doing the dirty stuff so the ball players can play!
