Captain Pugwash and General Mediocrity

As much as I agree about not making major changes every summer, this summer it needs to happen.

I expect a lot of changes to happen. We'll hopefully sell plenty but I reckon we could see as many as eight arrive too, maybe more depending on the sales.

I'll be annoyed if we don't look for a striker. Studge is Studge, he's not going to be available all season so plan for him not being available and let him fight for his place when fit. Ings and Origi are good squad options.

 

Bringing in someone to be captain is always risky. How are Henderson and Milner going to feel if someone new comes in to replace them? Then they'll have friends and allies in the camp too who may possibly get annoyed or influenced by them.

 

Mweh...that only works if those players were great in the past...half their friends will be sold and the younger guys must be frustrated that these wimps are on the first team and biggest paychecks...

 

Who cares? Klopp will manage that sort of stuff

I can see what you mean had Rodgers still been here but with Klopp its different. From the outside looking in thats my view anyway

And besides, we lack leaders and I sort of call Klopp the capt with how he is on the touchline
