Just seen this on BBC site (twitter feed)

"Former Tottenham captain Gary Mabbutt is recovering after an emergency operation to cure a circulation blockage in his left leg #thfc "

Hope he's alright, always like the fact he says "we" and not "Spurs" when punditing.

Mabbutt's one of my all time favourite players and he seems to be one of the most humble top pros around, so it's good to hear that he's recovering.

I wonder if the problem's diabetes related?

did anyone ever see the episode of "The Queen's Nose" that Mabbutt starred in? Some silky skills there.

Ditto all the above - wishing Mabbsy all the best.
If his past history of overcoming adversity is anything to go by then I am sure he will fight it ok!!!

All the best to Gary Mabutt and his family and wishing him a speedy recovery from the Gooner family <ok>

A day late-but never too late to send wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Was in the car yesterday when the news broke and it brought a tear to my eyes. Spurs through and through-in my eyes he was one of the greatest.
