Sounded like a decent bloke. The fawning on radio, social media etc gets a bit much for me.

 

An Asian guy did something similar. Raised a few quid. Wasn’t quite as marketable.

Full respect to the old boy, but given who’s orchestrated this clapping thing for him, it smacks of a cynical piece of PR and using the man’s legacy for political gain. So given the bigger picture this just reeks for me. Can’t have it.
