Frampton is not consistent enough, he is no where near consistent, he gets injured aswell, he should not be considered for it but Jackman YES, I would be well happy if he got it as he approaches his 5th or 6th season at the club so he should be in with a shout, it still amazes me at how much he improved as up to this season he had been poor, we always knew he did have something great in him from his first spell and how he played at Northampton, but it looked like he had lost it but he got his form back and was so good, hope he can keep him up as his form could be detrimental in our chances of promotion next season, if he and Whelpdale keep it up then we will be up there, Whelpdale showed us that he is a great player and we see the player that we wanted to sign in the last 15 games with 9 goals in them games, he is such a great player and as long as we don't get injuries in midfield which is highly unlikely then the midfield is sorted, I can't see why I manager would want to change the starters of Whelpdale, Lee, Payne, Jackman as that it is a great midfield at this level, that is actually good enough for League 1.
I think also if Kedwell can show us more next season with a few more goals then it will be OK, also if Birchall can chip in with a few it will be great, I would say if Kedwell was to get 16 or 17 and Birchall matched that and Whelpdale got in excess of 10 then we should easily get at least play offs, but I think we should still aim top 3, maybe not top but 3rd or 2nd.
I do not see why Frampton should be captain when there is so many players at the club who are so much better, the only thing he has that they don't have is a lot of experience and that is the reason why he is the captain.
I believe it should be a midfielder who is captain so we can lead from the middle of the park.
