How drab!! Would have much preferred getting drawn against a lower league team. I don't mean from the point of view that it would be easier but it is nice to play opponents you rarely play against and it makes it feel more like a cup game.
Of course we shall be especially now that europe is over. A chance to win something looking at the draw below. 5 more PL clubs will go out in round 3 leaving just 9 PL clubs for the 4th round draw. Assuming that we get passed WBA and another good draw then who knows. For sure the PL clubs left in the CL and EL wont be giving this alot of attention. Hopefully...............................
Moving on to next wednesday and the game @ Wba. SB will make wholesale changes if not 11 to the team that starts @ Newcastle. For sure Ben Arfa will start along with the likes of Harper - Rosenoir - McShane - Meyler - Aluko - Sagbo - Maguire to name but a few. What a shame that Gaston Ramierez is cup tied mind. Our back up 11 looks stronger than ever now.
Possible shocks tonight Middlesboro to win @ Liverpool. Shrewsbury to beat Norwich and can Bradford win @ MK Dons for the 2nd time in as many weeks ? Southampton to win @ Arsenal (subject to team selections). Surely not,, But can Doncaster win @ Fulham ??
Was a good goal by all accounts, I think that just proves he is not EPL quality, but the next level down.
