We've been in the semi-finals so it is only a matter of time before we get to the final.

Not sure I have that long though.

Still better to live in hope than die in dispair. ;)

we had a pre season friendly at Brentford a couple of years ago...it was great fun, good chips locally and 4 pubs to choose from right next to the ground..oh and the football was okay too...a draw if i remember rightly!

it'll be interesting to see who we play (who we have!)...and whether we'll go for it, or be happy to lose in the first round like last season (though that wasn't a happy experience at all! lol)

When is that being scrapped and the teams who would've played in it being part of the Champions League (probably with qualifiers starting in June) or is it they've decided just to leave it as the winners of the Europa League for now?

Just have the winners going through although to make that work they need to stop failed Champions league sides dropping into the Europa league otherwise you'll end up with teams like Chelsea winning again.

Be some sort of European super-league in the future anyway.

It's the game i was hoping for. I live about 20 mins from the ground. I'm bringing a Middlesbrough supporter with me. He's good mate of mine who lives round the corner from the ground. I think we may have several beers per and post match. Can't wait, happy days!

They need to go back to how it was, when only the champions of each country were allowed to play. How can you call yourself champions of Europe, when you don't even win your own bloody league.
Bloody money money money again <steam>

Agreed - its funny actually that they changed the name to the "Champions league" when its anything but!

Hooray, this is great news. Having recently moved to Bristol I was worried I wouldn't have any local games this year unless you count Yeovil, which I don't, as it's on a date when i'll be in Watford anyway.

Don't know why people are complaining, you will get to enjoy the 2 hours each way on the M4 that I bask in for every home game.
