Do you mean the three teams relegated, as Fulham are not on the list either. Dumbass rule if so, why should we get any privileges - for having failed so spectacularly last season?

its because the numbers don't add up otherwise, so i think the teams finishing 18th and 19th get a bye, although i must admit i thought it was only the team finishing 18th

Makes sense really. To keep the number right you give a bye to the highest finishers in the league last season.

It is normally one club, due to seven teams getting into Europe. This year is an exception, but I can't remember what the exception is - I think it's to do with who failed to qualify at the bottom of the league, rather than who got to Europe
