Depends if I can go with full face paint, jester hat, Corporately sponsored flag & Sammy Saint stuffed up my backside. Then I'd be excited, maybe. Been to Wembley once, was ok. Not overally desperate to go back.
A bit of a drab draw for you. Maybe Sunderland will make 11 changes so they can concentrate on trying to climb off the bottom of the table
We avoided the big hitters, so I think it's not a bad draw (apart from being played in the hinterland).

Having been announced that the Sunderland game will be on the Wednesday evening, it would now appear that we'll be up against our old mate Gus.
From one unproven fool to another. No improvement really for me. Poyet will saying every other team has no style and only play hoofball. We can do the Dagenham and Redbridge chant again though. lol
Poyet's very much more proven than Di Canio I'd suggest. Does seem like more of the same in a way though (albeit less so), so seems an odd choice.
In my mind, this increases the likelihood of Sunderland playing a weakened team against us. Presumably Poyet will want a good look at his whole squad early on, and this game allows him the chance to do that by making multiple changes. Yes a new manager will want to get off to good start, and impress the club's fans early on, but he has that opportunity with a certain game against Newcastle just 72 hours beforehand (another reason to rest players against us, by the way).
