I wouldn't say you outplayed us. We had about 60% of the possession, the same shots on target, similar amount of corners. You won by a single goal and your first was a penalty that we never should of given away. I hardly think that counts as outplayed. It was a good, hard fought win for Southampton and they played well. But it was a close game.
You played well and just about deserved your victory. It could have been different if Rosicky had his head screwed on tonight and if that chance for Sanchez in the 2nd half had gone in, but fair play to you boys and good luck in the rest of the comp.

Good luck to Saints in rest of the competition and to be honest they deserved the win. After so many players were sold I did think that they would be in trouble this season.
