Away to Villa? Tricky one but we should see a decent side starting the game.

First out of the hat? Moyes v Liverpool. Probably the pick, though they'll both be resting players.

Swindon Hotspur have another opportunity to get one over a London side. Be a good test for them...

Nasty draw that. Then again our second 11 is shaping up to be very strong too so if Lambert rests players too then we should win.

Last year I wanted us to lose early in one of the three competitions to ease the pressure on our squad. This year I want us to win to give our whole squad more game time. Aston Villa have really impressed me. Bentecke plus Abga plus that dude with a short name are first class. If they play them it would be a tough game for our first team. If they don't, the rest of their squad doesn't impress me that much. So I think they will play them, because otherwise they'd be giving up their best chance for a cup without a fight. And it will be a tough game, no matter who we play.

Does anyone remember that League Cup Final v Villa.I remember it being a very hard game with Spurs just about pipping Villa.
I also remember all the Villa lady supporters absolutely in tears......probably all grandmothers now!
.....and big Martin Chivers...........
