Just watched SSN news at 5, there lead/soundbite was "Capello tells Carroll to Stop Drinkin", a couple of minutes later they actually play the interview,they play it a couple of minutes later to let you forget the original headline.And it has some guy asking Capello about Carrolls drinkin, and Capello totally and utterly denies mentioning drinkin So sky tell us one thing and then instantly after show us a real interview saying exactly the opposite
I just watched/listened to the interview on the SkySports site( http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,12016_7152286,00.html )and his liking a few pints was not mentioned by the questioner or Capello. Bit of a hatchet job on Carroll by the mufc loving institution that is SkySports methinks.
It's the same on Radio 5 Live. As long as he plays well for Liverpool doing the job the kenny wants him to then I couldn't care less if he does have a drink or if he even plays for England
Add together a typical slow news day and an easily mis translated interview and you can guarantee fireworks in the headlines. Thought capello was a dick mentioning what he did and the people who believe the media are even worse.
