Absolutely and we will continue to do so but only after selling perez in January.

Absolutely certain that will happen because mclaren obviously doesn't want him and you can just tell because he drops and subs him at the slightest opportunity.

Surely though SM when buying these players he assumed our defense was solid enough and so would only use 1 DM, playing Gini in the centre and Thauvin on the wing - however, he has since realised our defence is shockingly woeful and so plays with the two DM's. In the Jnauary window the target must be a LB and a CB. For those mentioning Mbabu, I am beginning to think of dropping Janmaat for him!

Not just yet we won't! You seem to think we sell everyone, yet we don't! Every sale we have had (except for player forced moves) have been worth it!

He was shocking. But shocking for both teams. Janmaat should have been off. Colo should have conceded a pen. Albeit soft. Stones should have been off for his tackle from behind studs showing.

If you think that Stones challenge was a red you're on crack mate.

You're right about Mason though, he's an absolute ****house of a referee. Refs like he's never watched a game before let alone played in one.

Tough on you lads at the death that, I think we deserved to win but it didn't look like it was going to happen and having lost games like that I know how sickening it is.

You're a decent side though, and will have enough to pull clear of the drop zone. You need a goalscorer in the window though imo, as I think that Mitrovic is bang average.

Deserved win for you guys. Was very surprised to see you in the bottom half prior to kick off! I did spot some defensive frailty (not that we ever did much to expose them) but if RM brought in someone to help with defensive shape etc you'd be definitely up there aiming for top 4 which is where I think you should be.

A tackle from behind is a red card HOWEVER considering we should have had a player sent off AND you should have had a penalty prior to this, we owe you <laugh>.

I'm a big fan of anita too guys, but I don't think he was more than a 6.5. He was much better 2nd half and put in a good shift, but he still looks uncomfortable in a 4-4-2 CM role while on the ball to me.

Watch the game again! He was awesome - best of the midfielders by a country mile! Especially as he covered about 6/7 different players!

I actually think he'd be a brilliant signing for us.

Him and anita or Colback would definitely be a massive improvement. He can pass and chips in a a few goals from outside the box

So where does that leave Gini - he is our future CM partner - we just need to sort out our defence and then we can bring in Thauvin on the wing, Gini in centre and only one DCM.

As for Shelvey - you have complained about the slowness of our attack but Shola runs faster than Shelvey!

Ever the dramatic! What does our impending prospect of relegation have anything to do with selling Carroll, Nolan and Barton? Not including the sales of Enrique/Ba/Cabaye as they were all forced upon the club!

Shelvey could play dm and gini am perhaps its not an issue having options if you ask me.

Pace up front is an issue Shelvey can run a game better than what we have in cm currently.

Obviously you don't agree but I really think he'd be a good signing for us right now.

Shelvey is not a DCM! He maybe a deep lying midfielder but then we would continue with our current system where Shelvey replaced Colback alongside Anita and Gini still on the wing. Yes he would be an upgrade on Colback but for £10M+ not exactly great especially as we will still have same issues of having Gini on the wing
