Remember the Sinclair goal well - still one of my all time top 10 goals of all time. That Gareth Ainsworth goal was a bit special too, a bit of a collectors item
Maybe have a top 30!! include one of the many Goddard to Allen (Clive) one two's that always lead to a goal, Marsh and Fenwick's Wembley goals, at least one of Bowles and Currie's goals and above all ANY goal against Chelsea even if the scorer was SWP!!!
I still <3 Jamie Pollock.
What I always love when watching Adel's goal against Swansea is after he has been nutmegged by Adel, the Swansea player just keeps on walking away for a second or two obviously trying to work out what has just happened to him, and only after a second or so realizes that he needs to get back into the game and chase back.
Got to have something from Stan in there....at about 6 minutes into this clip, also the first QPR game I ever went to... The whole clip is worth watching though, some great goals and n hilarious panel discussion with 4 blokes sat in a line.....
Those clips from 1973 are great, consider the amount of skill that went into some of those goals, the type of ball that was used, the state of the pitches, they are as good as anything scored these days.....plus how many times did we see Stan cut in from the right, drop his shoulder to send the defender the wrong way and then score with his left foot......here's the one against Cologne that Forty refers to.... With Dave Clement demonstrating that you don't have to play 3-5-2 to be a great wing back for Stan's goal.
Happy Days (Rose tinted specs on....) Dave and Ian Gillard as full backs both supporting DT on the wing, total football....
