As I read that saw the knockdown... Looking good for you pal <ok>

Yeah I was well happy mate, spoke a lot on here about how atmosphere at home worse now than with 10k less in league one and today just reinforced my belief.

Dunno how it came across on TV cos how they set up the mics but we were loud as **** for the whole 90 minutes.

****ing loved it, almost at the point where I'm gonna **** home games off all together, text my mate earlier saying there was more singing before ko today than in 90 mins as against watford last week and thats not even an exaggeration!

Would certainly rather do 3 away then ten home, proper footy where it's more about the experience/ day out than the result.

On that note I'm 100% coming upto Goodison this year... Its our last away though so if we're playing for anything you might have to help me out with a ticket <laugh> <ok>

    Evening gents:emoticon-0146-punch

This is THE fight or certainly should be.

That pantomime of before has spoilt it for true warriors like these two.

I have had GGG winning this all the way up to the weigh in. I still want ggg to take it but canelo looks in the shape of his life so wouldn't surprise me if he took it

Yeah I like Billy, he shares my surname so it's all good haha. My mate is engaged to someone in his family, ****ing typical bunch of pikeys, all love a scrap. His Aunt tried convincing me to back him in the 6th in his fight with Andy Lee, thank **** I never listened as it went to a decision, she was pissed though to be fair <laugh>

As for boxing vs MMA, I just enjoy the fact MMA literally does as it says and mixes things up. Generally it's so difficult to pick a winner. I feel all too often it's pretty easy to pick a winner in boxing - mainly because they throw a prospect in with a chump - that said, GGG and Canelo can go either way!

Boxing is killing itself but is IMO better than mma/ufc. And I speak as someone who loves martial arts.

Too much politics in boxing and people avoiding people and pantomime like the mayweather v McGregor fight is making mma more popular

Saunders would get embarrassed by either of the two proper boxers fighting tonight, which is why I hope he gets a chance against one of them. That Monroe bloke must have not known there was a world title on the line.

Of course he will he's no where near that class, everyone knows that.

But I think because he isn't ever going to be a great that people think he's a bum which he ain't, he's not top level but he's a ****ing good fighter imo.

    Boxing more technical than MMA?

I'd argue against that all day long.

That's your opinion fella. I'd rather watch that than boxing, any day of the week

I lost my shirt when he fought Eubank Jnr, he showed what a warrior he is that night, I didn't think he had it in him and I was wrong

We'd have to disagree then fella, MMA is more like a street fight with almost anything goes whereas boxing has more boundaries so requires more tactical thought and skill imo.

I remember that fight, all my pals was saying he'd lose just on Eubanks name I reckon... Tried telling them he ain't no mug but they wouldn't have it.

I won about a nifty on that fight from 2/3 pals lol.

I didn't think he was a mug, but I thought Eubank would outclass him, and he probably did overall in terms of quality, but was just outpointed due to Saunders better work in the first half of that fight

Fair enough mate, I don't think he's all that tbh and living off his old man's name a bit, just my opinion personally though.

Almost showtime anyway lads... Who's awake? :bandit:
