Bloody hell Stereo. So sorry to hear. Thoughts are with you and the family.
Get researching into cannabis oil as a form of treatment.

Sorry to here this Stereo, be positive don't let the bastard get you down. I know it's easy for us all to say these words, but were all rooting for you. My wife had the breast cancer and thought her world was going to end, but she was up beat and with family and friends, she has come through the other side and now 3 year all clear.

I'd like to echo everyone's sentiments Stereo, very sad to hear this but try and stay as positive as you can. There can't be many of us who haven't been touched by this in some way and we're all hoping for a good outcome for you. Best wishes.

Stereo, I just wanted to add my words of sympathy but, more importantly, encouragement and support from the dark side. Rivalries fade into non-existence when sch things crop up. Be positive and keep the grip.

Very Sorry to hear this Stereo, and I can fully understand your situation at the minute, having been here with my dear wife when she was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2013, it was a very dark moment indeed, and a lonely place to be, so I really wish you all the very best in getting the best treatment possible. These situations are very tough on the family, I decided to fight it for my wife, by researching as much as I could from latest developments in Cancer technology, particularly the new Biological therapies, such as Rituximab, Ibritumomab etc.

The Non Hodgkins Lymphoma is treated in some conditions very similar to Leukaemia, both are a failure of the Immune system white blood cells, We have had a tough fight with the NHS to get the treatment that we wanted, that was the least destructive to the other blood cells and organs, and I would recommend that you get a second opinion as routine, you will find Google a great help in getting to the heart of the matter, knowledge is important when choosing the best options for treatment, we went to Prof. Fagan in Cardiff for our second opinion, found him very helpful indeed, and my best advice to you Stereo is to get as much information as possible, I cannot emphasis this enough. You can PM me any time if your in need of any info, or help, thinking of you and wishing you the best possible outcome.............<ok>

PS: Although the last few years have been a busy time camping in the Hematology ward at Singleton hospital, my dear wife has now gone into remission for hopefully a good number of years, before she will need secondary treatment again, and she has never felt so good.

Glad to hear that Phil. I don't know about you but when it hits you or someone close to you your plans for the future go out the window. It's a bugger of a disease but it can be beaten. :)

On the subject of prostate I had a Psa test last January that showed a level of 20. Should be under 4. I had radiotherapy in February/March and a follow up psa was 7. Went back yesterday and it's dropped to 2 so now have to go back in October, so it looks like I may have dodged a bullet. Good idea to have a psa test.
