They were/are on the database for 19/20 not removed from 18/19. Consequently fans/apologists could not all buy tickets in their season ticket seats from last season.
@Clb74 assuming you have not deserted this board, you'll be pleased to know that it seems that we have sold virtually 10k of season tickets.................unfortunately.
How does that compare to the last few seasons? I would guess best summer sales figures since summer 2015 or maybe summer 2014...
We sold just over 6K last season, tbf this is a good increase given the circumstances we find ourselves in off the field.
4,000 up is a decent improvement. Let's see how many bums are still on seats if it goes pear-shaped next season. The home crowd was noisy and positive last season, but we only lost twice at home (not including the FA Cup tie we threw against Donny).
Languishing in the bottom six will see a drop of about 20% from the season ticket total. I would think we'll have about 11k bums on seats IF we stay in the bottom six. Of course, it we get sold there will see a surge of interest in season tickets, me included.
Agreed - a take-over would see a jump in ST sales - I would guess another 2,000 within a week or so, and more after that if the new owner makes the right noises. But I don't think it's going to happen. There is something wrong with this whole 'being for sale' saga. I don't know what the hell Roland is up to (nobody does) but the whole thing just doesn't ring true for me. Other parties are acting in good faith I expect, but RD just carries on finding ways for it not to happen. He is an absolute wrong 'un.
I'll stand by what I have maintained all along, the Belgian will retain part of The Valley/Sparrows Lane after the sale. People that appear to know a lot more than me think otherwise, I hope they are right.
maybe wait before cancelling... have you seen the new prices? as of next week? jacked the price up a awful lot....
Nice to see you have not deserted us mate. How much is an awful lot? Do you know what the matchday prices are?
@ForestHillBilly having seen you like a few of my posts regards the Belgian retaining ownership of The Valley/Sparrows Lane, what is your take? What do you think his 'end game' is?
so for me, eligible for student discount, the price has gone up quite a bit (£135) family tickets up £75, everyone else up £50
i dont mind paying the full rate to be honest. i was happy to pay £340 as a adult when i thought we were going somewhere. what i have issues with is when we're clearly being set up to either get relegated or just miss it, but then being charged more for the privilege. i'm fortunate to still pass as a student...
