Just as a little bit of fun, I thought it would be amusing to have a go at valuing the lads who lined up against QPR. This is not intended to be an indication of what we would sell the players for, as this would obviously be much higher than their actual value (beautiful capitalism at work), but how much they are realistically worth.

John Ruddy - £3.2m

Russ Martin - £1.75m

Drury - Free to anyone willing to pay his care home fees.

Fox - £1m

Ayala - £2m

Whitbred - £750k (injury prone)

Johnson - £1.25m

Pilkington - £3m

Bennett - £1.25m

Lappin - £750k

Hoolahan - £3.5m

Holt - £2m

Jackson - £2m

What do you reckon?

I think you are probably being a bit conservative on the values of a few. Holt has been linked with moves around the 4 million mark and Pilkington up to 5 million. Whitbread has surely got to be worth a couple of million.

id say pilkington is closer to 4million having made the move up so well. Also i reckon the norfolk cafu should be up around 2mill-2.5mill after a number of standout performances this season.

I agree i think that we could get more for almost all the players especially if Beckford went for £4m and we apparently turned down £3m from WBA for holt

Carroll has 4 goals and cost £35m, so surely that makes Holt, with 7 goals, worth £61m???
