No witch hunt I'd just like to know if anyone had an absolutely terrible game and the manner of the goals conceded that's all. Nothing is directed at Mark Bunn by the way from what I've read on twitter he has kept us in the game. Good for you, I'm not going to compliment them ever not in a million years.
I know we were missing Hoolahan, but I was still surprised we went 4-4-2 tonight. We've had so much success with 4-5-1/4-2-3-1, I'm surprised we didn't keep the formation the same, with Fox alongside Johnson, Howson in the advanced role and Holt or Moro alone up top. Just me think it was an odd formation choice?
Totally agree, think we should have stuck with the system so that those on the fringes could learn role when first team members not available. Morison has got game time but with Holt helping him out might have been more beneficial to see how he did on his own building the play like we have been with holt, in case holt gets injured.
the late goals were conceded because we pushed so many players forward to try and get back in the game - they weren't down to errors at all. we didn't take our chances, villa did. simple as that
