3 clean sheets on the trot too. I watched the final 10 minutes online, and whilst I was nervous, I was only ever nervous because of the situation, not because of the way we were defending. Every yellow (and green) shirt on the pitch were exceptional, and I always felt if United were going to score, it would be from a piece of individual skill, rather than us gifting them the chance.
Good win boys, nicely done. Would be very churlish to say we played utterly **** wouldn't it? Our team were arrogant and lazy and your boys gave them a deserving beating.
How must Lambert feel now!! Villa in the relegation zone Norwich beat Man Utd NCFC, i love you soooo much, on a massive adrenaline rush!!! Fergie, you wont forget Pilkington ever again will you!!!!!
Just brilliant is all I can say! It'll be lucky Norwich on MOtD tonight, no doubt, and how Manure were below par, but who cares after 6 games unbeaten and 4 of those clean sheets! Brilliant!
Just got back from my sons after watching it on ESPN. I had us for a draw but after all the debates about happy or content or upset with the result yesterday, today I want to say how happy I am. I told them I had my lucky shirt on it its come up trumps again. In fact I am now staring at my grand daughter, funnily enough called Alix, and she has her city strip on, my grandsons have as well and it just feels so good to be a City fan right now. No doubt the pundits and critics may well try and detract somewhat from our win by offering excuses for the opposition but I have to say we won the tactical battle tonight and I thank CH, CC and PT for masterminding that result. I don't remember more than one time where Utd played through a dangerous ball through our heart. I'm sure CH was quite happy for them to pass and pass as it gave us time to organise and made sure we couldn't get caught on the break. And to be honest, we should have made it two with the best chance of the match falling to Howson. And while the Ibrahimovic goal has rightly received so much praise, don't tell me that Pilks goal wasn't just the classiest goal. Good move, magnificent cross and Pilks knowing he just had to get ahead of Smalling and steer it with his head. I hopes the pundits give it the credit it deserves. John Ruddy is now the BFG, Best Fcukin Goalkeeper, and Holt had one of his magnificent games again when he never stopped harassing them and made himself available for every attack. But they were all a credit and the smiles on their faces as they walked off said it all.

Soo proud of the boys, did anyone else spot Alex Tettey at the fnal whistle ? A big smile, a shake of the head in disbelief and the look of sheer exhaustion. After eighteen months and so much hard work and endeavour, today saw Norwich City Football Club show the country we are back we we rightly belong
Just back from the game and I have no voice left It was a fantastic result, every player worked their backsides off. Man Utd were poor, partly because we didn't let them play. Tettey on his hands and knees crying at the end of the game summed up just how much this result meant to the players
As an aside... On what was a great result for you lot today, no comment from either Carra or Treacle... Guess they're both still more interested in us than Nodge...
Phenomenal performance from all the lads. United weren't great, but our organisation, energy and quality restricted them severely. Ruddy, becoming a legend, two top class saves, and all round top quality. Some of his takes from crosses were superb. Garrido, kept Valencia quiet, terrific cross for the goal. Bassong, magnificent (almost produced a top class own goal, but Ruddy was equal to it!) Turner, magnificent. Not only did the centre-halfs take care of Hernandez/Wellbeck and RVP. They avoided giving away silly free-kicks, and were superb from the crossing bombardment. Whittaker, superb, kept Young quiet, and managed to get forward well also. Tettey & Johnson. Perfect holding jobs from both guys. Neither gave the ball away and they both were able to drive forward. Protected our defence magnificently. Pilks & Snoddy, both had their best games this season. Both were constant threats down the wings and the goal from Pilks was fantastic. Hoolahoop, brilliant. For most of the game looked the best player on the pitch. Found some great spaces. Holt, great job again. If I'm going to make any criticism it was his touch let him down on a couple of early occasions, but after that his work rate was superb and he led the forward line brilliantly. Subs :- Howson, added some much needed energy, shame he couldn't put the final touches to a great team performance with a goal. Morrison, did valuable defensive work at the death. Bennett, did what was necessary. Fantastic day! OTBC IHWT
I gather from Hughton's post-match interview that Hodgson was in the crowd today. That won't have done Ruddy's prospects any harm whatsoever!! Look out Hart!
Well done Norwich. Deserved the win so nothing else to really say. Good luck with the rest of the season.
