I wouldn't take a point now if you offered it me, I think we should go there and try to win. It won't be easy though, Norwich are good at home usually and you never know if we'll have a lapse of concentration just like against Sunderland.

My boyfriend is a Canary so I think a draw is best to keep the peace!

There's some slight differences of opinion about our line-up, but (depending on fitness) it probably won't be too far off this:

    Ruddy

    R.Martin - Turner - Bassong - Olsson

    Snodgrass - Johnson - Fer - Redmond

    Elmander

    The Wolf

Possibly swap Ryan Bennett for Turner and/or Whittaker for Martin.

TBH I would be happy with a draw but we should be going to win this. Wolfwinkel looks good, also has a great name. Hoping Lovren can keep him quiet.

Is it too early to be discussing team? Is this the new match thread? if so......... WHERE ARE THE COLOURS!

Tough one to predict, Van Whatshisname doesn't really seem to add much to the game, if we can keep the ball away from him then I don't really see them as a big attacking threat.

And there's no Clattenberg this time to provide an attacking threat for them.

I hope SFC come back with 3 points, both very underrated teams, could be 6+ goals here.

Hoping for a 6-5 Saints win as I have Snodgrass, Rodriguez, Lallana and Schneiderlin in my FF team!

It'll be a draw, we drew both games against Norwich last year and despite the cup results, none of ur attacks are great. 1-1.

Really? I quietly admire a great deal of your attacking players:
    • Lambert
    • Rodriguez
    • Osvaldo
    • Lallana
    • Ramirez
    • Ward-Prowse

There's goals in them there players!

I think he was aiming it at your attackers not ours, not sure he quite got the grammar right though. I like RVW but I must admit no one else in your attack/attacking midfield frightens me.

Ah yes, sorry I misread the post. Yes, I'd have to agree that overall you have better attacking players than us. we do have players in the midfield that are very capable of scoring goals though (Snoddy, Pilks, Redmond, Howson).

I just tried to come up with an attempt at a (as unbiased as I could be) combined Canaries/Saints XI and this is what I got:

    Ruddy

    Clyne - Lovren - Bassong - Shaw

    Wanyama - Fer

    Snodgrass - Osvaldo - Lallana

    The Wolf

    5 Canaries
    6 Saints

    Here's mine:

    Boruc

    Clyne - Lovren - Yoshida - Shaw

    Wanyama - Schneiderlin

    Ward-Prowse - Ramirez

    Osvaldo - Lambert

    Sounds about right.:D

I think Saints will have a good chance of winning this...as I think we will have a good chance against most teams. We are very strong in attack and play entertaining football. Nothing is ever certain though because we seem to create a lot of chances without scoring many in some games. Think we should win 2.1 or 2.0.

I'll have you know I carefully weighed up all the strengths and weaknesses of both teams players.

Then I decided Saints were miles better and picked them.

If it makes you feel better, I've thought of a bench aswell: Ruddy, Bassong, Fer, Snodgrass, Wolfpenis.
