Picture quality is pretty good. For home games you (only recently) get commentary and some replays. For away games it’s crowd noise only. Sound often lags behind the action which can be annoying. If you live overseas, it’s pretty much your only option if you want to see most of the games. Televised games are not available on ifollow, so I try to stream these. It’s expensive for what it is. I expect if you have a vpn you can also watch the games in the UK.

I cancelled my ifollow subscription after a month. It was terrible. From what Bravo says it sounds like they might have improved with the sound and some replays now but it was single camera and shoddy unreliable audio at the time.

Also may not affect you so much but you must wait 1-2 days for any on-demand repeat of the game. Most games middle of the night here in Aus so my kids were looking forward to seeing the action in the morning but couldn't.

For me it's an either/or. 5 at the back as you say feels excessive at home but then couple that with Tettey and you just have too few forward minded players on the park. I would try going 4 at the back (at home) but keep Tettey, then either add width with Murphy and Hernndez wide of JM, or load up with ball players e.g. TT, JM and Leitner.
With that said, if it keeps working and we win the rest of our home games 1-0 I'll only complain a bit!

    Bah!

Just checked BBC text service, and Josh had 5 shots and Nelson had 6. SO PLENTY OF SERVICE TO THEM, BUT LACK OF QUALITY IN THE FINISH.

Not quite as black and white as that GE - their keeper made 5 saves and some of the shots were agonisingly close.

The MISS of the day belongs to Sterling at Citeh, when his attempted tap in ended up being a horrible miss. <laugh>

From Paddy D's ratings column. Sounds almost too good to be true!

    • Moritz Leitner 7.0
Masterclass in passing and controlling the tempo in a 30 minute cameo.

I was replying to those who bemoan us "creating little" (General) and pointing out that this was in fact not true. Maybe a few weeks ago, but we have definitely moved on from that turgid phase. We have entered a better, but far from perfect, phase.

Spot on GE and I wish I'd opted to go to the game yesterday, as opposed to watching the Scots inflicting their own destruction in Wales!!!
I'm meeting up with another couple of fans who were at CR yesterday to watch the Under 23s this afternoon, so I'll get their views on whether or not we are improving.
We have only conceded 6 goals in the last 8 games and all our defeats have been by the odd goal.
We have also scored in all our games this year!!! <laugh>

Having addressed the issue of a leaky, porous, disjointed defence back in the summer, DF and SW have turned their attentions in this recent window to more forward areas of the pitch.
Fair enough, not seen Srbeny yet, only a brief glimpse of Hernandez, but Leitner sounds like the potential 'real deal' - which further justifies the decision to cash in on want-away (allegedly) Alex Pritchard. There's no way in the world a club like ours can do a Wolves and just buy whoever you need in one hit, so this transition was always going to take more than two windows to bear fruit.
Early days still, but the signs are there for all to see <applause>

DF was saying on Friday I think it was how he and SW had concentrated their efforts in this window on improving the team OFFENSIVELY and I guess for most fans, 'the jury is still out' on that one, but my glass is now 75% full that we'll comfortably finish in the top 10 and who knows.......

On a slightly different topic, Fousseni Diabate of Leicester, having survived a red card very early on in yesterday's game looks VERY promising for only £2M from a Ligue 2 side!!!! <yikes>

Defensively we look solid now - only Traore caused us bother yesterday with his pace. Whether we need a back five at home is debatable but I like the fact we are hard to break down so I say leave it as it is.

We do look a bit laboured up front but Basil played well yesterday and a goal wil surely come soon - his attitude looked right yesterday and that is important. Hernandez looked decent in his cameo, pace a plenty and he reminds me of a slightly taller Bellars - he could be good this lad.

I say we should try to buy Leitner if the opportunity comes. He looked the real deal yesterday and his passing was visionary and sublime - he could be the next “Chippy” if we can keep hold of him.

A much more comfortable feel about the team now - if we can add a bit of zip to the way we attack and become a bit more creative while maintaining our defensive solidity then the play-offs are still an outside possibility.

    OTBC.

I wonder if there might be another option away to the likes of Derby or Wolves. I know it's heresy, but if we rested Madders and played Hernandez instead in a 3-4-3 formation to counterattack with pace. Much would depend on Trybull and the WBs ability to supply the front runners. We'd then have a fresh Madders for the visit of Ipswich. It's only a thought. <whistle>

Those of you who read the articles on the various Archant publications/MFW articles/Read Norwich etc, etc may have noticed a slight change of tack since Saturday in that there is a mood of quiet contentment sweeping the keyboards of contributors. Gone (at least temporarily) are the almost unanimous calls for 'Delia out' and in its place we are seeing unanimous comments regaling the skill and passing ability of Leitner and the speed of Hernandez and my friends whom I met yesterday afternoon were in complete agreement.
The applause offered to Ethan Thomas and the memory of Michelle Dack (not forgetting Trybull's contract signing/transfer window dealings) united the fans/players/management and COULD this be the start of us inching up way up the table???

Edit - I still feel that the play-offs are just out of our reach, but reserve the right to change my opinion at the beginning of March after some VERY tough games in the coming weeks

They are some tough fixtures this month. If we can accumulate 12 points from a possible 15 then I think the playoffs will feel possible again.

Its those 2 away games that look really tough on paper, but the way our seasons going we'll probably win them both 1-0 and slip up at home against Bolton. The binners should be easy, we always beat them lot!

    Sat Feb 3 Middlesbrough
    Sat Feb 10 Derby County
    Sat Feb 17 Ipswich Town
    Tue Feb 20 Wolverhampton Wanderers
    Sat Feb 24 Bolton Wanderers

    Bah!

Yes the MFW article by Gary Gowers caught the change in mood and now the usually sceptical Paddy Davitt has joined in:

    http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Championship/Norwich City?type=ts

The longer appearance of Leitner and Hernandez's debut have lit a spark. A good performance and result at Derby could take it further.

Excellent post General and IMO, anything more than 11 points by the end of February would be an excellent return and REALLY have the fans believing. 7 points or FEWER however ....

Edit - I'll come back to this post at the beginning of March.
