3 points is all I wanted.

How was the performance overall? We sounded in control throughout from when I've heard and read?

Same as usual mate go 2-0 nil up then panic, give a goal away, then start kicking it anywhere. Josh made the goal for Naismith, 1 yard tap in but they all count. Should have had this game wrapped up by half time. Story of missed chances again.

Good job Naismith came on, by the sounds of it! :emoticon-0105-wink:

We really need to start taking more of our chances. Still, that's 2 home games in a row I've won at the bookies!!! [HASHTAG]#gamblersanonymous[/HASHTAG]

I should say that i dont think Naismith has been great. He has been ok to sub standard with the occasional bright spot. however he has scored 3 goals in half the time Ricky was here (a 200% increase) and while his ability may rightly be called into question his effort can not be. It just shows how short memories are and that sometimes people are more interested in complaining than thinking logically.

It would seem Howson is injured and logically Naismith is the most likely player to fill in that gap as he can play many of the same rolls. It seems very acceptable that he should be on the bench and that you have gotten "very annoyed" by that just seems to me to be an over reaction.

anyway, my bad for trying to share my opinion, glad we are winning!

No ones saying you can't have your opinion, I just don't agree with you, that's just my opinion. <ok>

Got the feeling that this was treated as a low key game and the usual switching off ensued. When do we next play a team in the top 6?

On another cheery note, I checked up on Ipswich's results of late. I hadn't realised how poor they'd been lately. We've won as many games today as they've won since August.

Just got home from the match absolutely stuffed and well oiled. That lot in the top of terrace know feck all about football but I suppose I shouldn't knock 'em if they're prepared to give ncfc thousands every season.

Hope you didn't spill your jug of Pimms when Nai-use rifled that bullet winner in from 8 inches?!
That's approx an inch per million squid of his joining fee <doh>
