Yes you beat me to it. <laugh> 'Brenda' was indeed Phil's. But in all fairness he admitted he got it wrong some time ago, as most of us do when it happens. Not the easiest thing to do, eat humble pie. Shame other posters (well, one in particular) has never done so and shows no sign of starting any time soon.

Personally, I wouldn't have posted this thread at this particular moment as we bask in the glory of yesterday, but I applaud Copperquarter for having the courage to do so and be prepared to take the usual and expected stick from the moron's defenders.

The thing that i find funiest of all is that you call him Dull Dai but he is probably pissing himself laughing at the wind ups he has caught you with <laugh>

I sensed a long time ago that some of his stuff is written with tongue firmly in cheek and lots of you fall for it hook line and sinker every time! some of you get so mad you cant even see it!

Having said that,i must also add that some of his views RE Jenkins come from a personal difference,we all have them ,look at Knackered Jack and his constant abuse of me! <laugh>
he breaks my heart with every hurtful comment <laugh>
and the thing is,in the 3-4yrs ive seen him post ive never known him to ever be wrong either!

we ve all said things on here that we sometimes regret later on,its not the Bible folks its a kill some time spout some bollocks internet forum<laugh>
Some maybe take themselves too seriously ??

I actually have never held a personal issue with anyone on here, i always enjoy others views no matter how mad they may appear to me, people like Daiswan and others like aussiejack, hit the road and knackered jack (oops sorry, that is actually one person!) make this place fun to be on :)

Ha Ha HA, youve got to laugh at all the defensive numpties on here. I can remember back to the 606 days and the hateful bile they threw at our wonderful Swans, often singling out individual players, the Chairman and manager. Now they poo poo it as nothing! They parade as if they are true fans in full support of the manager and chairman. As I said a bunch of numpties. First bad run and they will be back with their dross! As for me, win lose or draw STID.

    Ohhh dear.

Yesterday's result was amazing. I'm so proud of the boys, it's unbelievable.

While it was strange posting this thread so soon after such a great victory is beyond me, but fair play to Copper, he had the courage and he posts some valid points.

Myself and Dai have dis-agreed very recently about Danny Graham, and while I respect Dai and his opinions, he needs to agree to the fact he was wrong regarding Danny. I'm not going digging through the threads, but he did state DG was Chamiponship level at best and Maynard would be a better option.

I may add I am not normally one for starting threads to pick on a particlular person, this had to be said, as Dai has been proved wrong on many an occasion, and a few of us would take great pleasure on showing that.

    Brilliant. Just brilliant. <applause>

Oh, and Norway...don't flatter yourself dear. The reason you profess to like Dopeydai is that you're of the same ilk. You both get pleasure from being controversial just for the crack. You admitted this on here just last week. I'm sorry, but if anyone constantly has a pop at our Chairman and our players because of some ancient vendetta, or even because he enjoys winding up fellow Jacks then I for one will tell him what I think of him, without apology to you or anyone else.

Unfortunately, if someone's wrong there's no law that says they have to acknowledge it. Some people don't like Cristiano Ronaldo, and scoring 50 goals a season won't change that, so to expect Dai to both change his mind and to "admit he was wrong" is a bit of a reach! Anyone who posts here regularly will know I clash with Dai on a lot of things, and if he posts something I disagree with I'll call him out on it straight away, but at the end of the day he is still entitled to his opinion. Right, wrong, whatever, he posts what's on his mind and you've got to respect that.

Scott well said mate, that's the best comment I've read on this thread, shame that some, just can't resist trying to score points over one another, well over Dai to be precise, and how the hell, they get so agitated over him, is beyond me, but at the end of the day, my view is they are a match made in heaven, keep at it Dai, there will always be some of us that will defend your right to your view, even though we don't agree at times, and I have to say that Dai is one of the best posters on here, regardless of how some view him, he's no less a Swansea city supporter, than the rest. We need to live and let live on this board, and accept and respect posters views, even if we feel, they are very much of the mark, there's no room for the Gestapo on here, because at the end of the day it's simply opinions, not life and death!.....................

He's got a right to his view as you said Phil but so has Copper and he's expressed it as have the people who have supported him on this thread or people who have defended Dai like yourself. All part of the debate my dears.

    Well said.

I fully support a difference of opinions and always have done. But there are certain views that cross the line, regardless of a right to hold them. It beggars belief that a person who has consistently sniped at our excellent Chairman, often in quite a vitriolic way and consistently criticised players who are actually doing really well gets comments like "Dai is one of the best posters on here" and "keep going, Dai".

And from a mod too. <doh>

"How the hell (the Swans fans) get agitated with him is beyond me" just shows how out of touch you are with the vast majority on here who, far from thinking he's a harmless nut-job, are fed up to the back teeth with his nonsense. He crosses the line consistently, is almost always in a minority of one and that can't be a coincidence.

It's one thing to differ as to the best first 11 we have for a particular game, or debate about mistakes Rodgers or the team have made in approaching games, but it's entirely another matter when decent people at our Club are constantly getting it in the neck from this dimwit. I for one will stand up and defend them, and those who support his right to spout that drivel should take a long look at themselves.

    "keep going" my ass. <doh>

Things were much more peaceful a few weeks back..<whistle>

Copper was indeed well within his rights to say what he said, i didnt really understand the timing of it but thats his choice and fair enough, he was honest and it was something he felt the need to say by creating his own thread. I found it quite amusing that a few(not the vast majority like HTR likes to think) felt the need to jump on the band wagon but there you go, whatever floats your boat i guess :)

One thing i may add, we dont yet know if the Swans will stay in the prem league(its looking good now,but half way to go) if we get massive injuries defensivly or DG goes off the boil it will be a very close run thing(i think it will be anyway) if we dont strengthen in the right areas at the right time (in this transfer window)then some of Daiswans opinions may well come back to haunt a few of you .

I personally think we are light for cover in defence, and as much as i have held the torch for DG since he came here he could well have a sticky patch of form, hopefully Daiswan wont be right on such matters and we secure prem status with some games to spare.

We are all passionate Jacks here, i dont hold grudges against other posters like some obviously do, to take the words of another poster, there are indeed more important things in life.

Opinion is the King on here and there is no real right or wrong, just different views, if we were having this conversation in the Pub i garentee plenty would be winding their neck in and affording other people their point of view with a bit more respect regardless of if they thought it was wrong or not.

    STID <ok>
