Juve are better than United, trust me. They were poor against Celtic but they've been amazing this season and last.
our record against Barca speaks for itself Barca have failed to beat us in our last 7 matches against them and to add to it have never beaten a Chelsea team with all 11 men on the field.
Drogs it says a lot that Juve were poor but still won with ease as a unit there defence is top draw it took 2 special strikes from Oscar for us to get goals against them there going to take some beating as they dont concede sloppy goals.
I think Juve are a world class striker away from contending for the thing, and they've signed Llorente on a free! Perfect fit for them.
Dortmund would mop the floor with United, Juve are much better too, once they get Llorente and another top class striker they will easily have one off the best teams in Europe.
Real Madrid weren't able to 'mop the floor' with us even at home, the team you think will be in the final so what makes you think Dortmund will?
Bayern maybe in the final, but there are quite a few stronger sides than Real still in the competition. We will finish Real off at OT, and even if they were to get by us I fancy any of Bayern, Dortmund or Juve to beat Madrid
I'm going for a final 4 of Bayern and three from United, Juve, PSG and Dortmund. Obviously a lot depends on the draw!! For the Europa League Ajax, Tottenahm, Benefica and if Chelsea use the vast expericence gathered over the past decade in the Champions League, you guys are in with a shout.
That's a shame for you guys as I am sure you would have enjoyed the coffee shops, canal walks and a certain district to take your minds of Rafa's bewildering array of team selections and tactics. You will just have to see what goodies there are in Bucharest!!
They're crap at the back and have been for a long while. Puyol and Pique are a quality cb pairing but nowhere near the quality they have in attack and behind them you have Mascherano, who's no centre back and neither is Song. Then at fullback you've got Alves, who is a shocking defender and should be played on the wing, Alba who to be fair is a quality left back and as backup, Adriano who's best utilised as a winger yet he seems to fill in anywhere across their backline. It's all well and good having players that can attack and are good on the ball when your attack is dominating as Barca's can but when you're getting stifled by a tough defence the whole team gets frustrated and the defenders disappear up the field and when the opposition has a quality, fast attack they will get exposed. It's oversimplifying it but Barca's defence does rely on Pique, Puyol and Busquets all being fit and getting the best of the opposition, if not they can look very ordinary. Real looked similarly brittle at the back against a top quality United attack, they might have had more of the ball and applied more pressure but United were happy for that to happen as they were organised and with RVP's ability they should really have come out of the game with 2/3 away goals. There's not much wrong with Barca's attack though, they've got a variety of different players who can play a variety of roles which is why it's rare they don't look like scoring. It's easy to criticise them when their attack just doesn't quite click, or they do everything except score but realistically that's always going to happen a couple of times a season no matter how good they are. The only thing they're missing is a proper number 9 to throw on, or anyone that's particularly strong for that matter. There's no point being too proud to ignore a time-tested formula for scoring goals and the best teams have to be able to win dirty too, that's the only area they lack. Whilst they have plenty of options in attack you can't beat a good battering ram up top as a different option to throw on when everything else doesn't seem to be working.
