I personally would have given Hudson a chance. He looks a real talent. But the point is, is that Stan was all for Baka starting and saying how great he'd be without Fabregas or Alonso and when shown to be entirely wrong, wanted him hacked after 10 minutes!! Once you've picked a player, you can't take him off that quick, especially when his confidence is low!! Of course in hindsight, he gets a red and we lose but even so.... Barkley as I understand it was injured....shock horror. He's also looked lost when played; albeit very early days.
Stan is a very odd man who targets one or two players and places all the clubs misfortunes on them, then says that "Tony" should be sacked for picking them to play, even though he was (by all accounts) against signing these ****ing pish players in the first place. For the most part he is only playing the hand he has been dealt. Yes there are some questionable tactical choices (Like starting with Hazard up front and leaving Giroud on the bench), but wtf do people expect Conte to do when he has had a team of mediocre crocks forced upon him and been told he has to virtually work miracles.
Should forget about the first team for a bit and watch the U21's at Lincoln tonight, it'll be on Chelsea tv. Possibility of Wembley if we win so should be a decent team out.
A good chance to see our world class players in the making before they get sold to Watford or sent to rot in Holland!
haha that was funny from stan but baka was having a shocker, nearly setup watford twice with throughballs to their players, lost the ball countless times and he was making a lot of fouls. He was a bit unfortunate to be sent off and it's easy to say in hindsight but he wouldn't have been the first manager to sub a player off in the first half for being shocking. Tbh, it was contes fault in the first place for starting him
Bobby, have a look at the BBC Sport site, nice post on Conte not being fired and especially good summary of the situation from the head of Chelsea supporters. He really nails it. I am going to stop whingeing ( yes really) and try to get behind the players and manager in the hope we might have hit the bottom and the only way now is up..
That was a good article. Dunno if you've seen my opinion on the prem board which is where i probably hang out most but most of this is on the board and whoever is in charge of transfers (presumably not conte since hes moaning about it). We've bought in a bunch of mediocre players and with half of them being injured when they arrived or recovering from serious injuries (Bakayoko injured when he came and knee ligaments, Drinkwater injured when he arrived, Barkley not fit serious injury, Giroud not match fit was injured at arsenal) and our squad is short in terms of senior players. At the same time Conte has to take some of the blame, he's got far more players available and he persists with bakayoko who needs a break and his tactics have been turgid and he hasn't rotated much at all, even in any of the cups especially knowing our schedule (every 3/4 days since november!). He doesn't have the team, yet he doesn't play any of our youth players or batshuayi even if he does well or poor. We can all see hazard up top doesn't work. That's not even my biggest gripe. It's the moaning and the petty argument he's got himself into with Jose which seems to have affected him. I really liked the man last year and this year he's been a bit too whiny which i hadn't expected at all. I do wish him well as he's still likeable and i don't really like this merry go round and he deserves time for what he achieved last year. I'm glad our fans supported conte in the past games but i wasn't pleased at this chanting at bakayoko who needs our support rather than being pillorised.
Only way is down with Conte. Sooner we fire him better for all. Hope I am wrong but don't see it Tbh.
When I state the obvious and quote a fact I am irrititating ?? Didnt you agree 2 days ago with me, albeit with lots of hesitation. Now we thrash mighty Baggies all my statements are false ??
No i agreed with you that Conte is begging Chelsea to sack him. I however, disagree with you on everything else, including but not limited to, the effectiveness of Fabregas, Bakayoko, Alonso and Moses, plus your gay as **** habit of calling Fabregas "Cescy", Conte "Tony" and other silly arse doom mongering antics.
doh.. it is not even funny.. I am the only guy out here who defended Moses through out.. you cannot make up these type of s#!t Adios from this cesspool.
