    Maybe but there not English enough for me !! they do the proud to be welsh a bit to often when it suits !!!

    On 30 August 1920, Cardiff City played their first Football League match at Ninian Park, when 25,000 supporters showed up to watch a scoreless draw with Clapton Orient. The first ever Football League victory for Cardiff City, at Ninian Park occurred only 5 days later, when Stockport County were beaten 3–0.

    Swansea City A.F.C. was founded in 1912 as Swansea Town and joined the Football League in 1921. The club changed their name in 1969, when it adopted the name Swansea City to reflect Swansea's new status as a city.[1] Since 2005 Swansea City have played their home games at the Liberty Stadium, a ground they share with the Ospreys Rugby Union Club. Before 2005 the club's home ground was Vetch Field.

    On 31 May 1920, Leeds United were elected to the Football League, thats if you dont count Leeds city.

    So the answer is no we have been in the league longer.<cheers>

    P/S. the first leg of the play offs is the 3rd May, Thursday, on Sky Sports 1, coverage starting at 7.30pm, kick of 7.45pm.....:)
