My memory might be deceiving me but wasn't grob and ducket the previous name of shire horse, I'm probably wrong, I use to play rugby for shire horse back in the day, tony banham was our coach, what a big bugger he was, legs like oak trees, he would get the ball 20 yards out and carry 5-6 of their players over the line, no one could stop him from that distance...

Yes - football boots! I like black football boots that are made of leather with studs not blades.

I hate the garish coloured plastic bladed boots. Sports shops are full of them - it's like wearing plazzy bags on your feet.

If you start in the Dog and Duck you might get lucky and end up in the Beaver! Was there myself on Tuesday night, followed by a scoff, with a bunch of lads (whoever's birthday it was on the next table, I hope you enjoyed the vocal support on 'Happy Birthday' even the staff laughed, just ...), at Lee Gardens ... not the best Chinese food to be honest.

Well built but not tall. I remember him being on the door of Parkers when we played Sunderland in the early 1970s. He had let some Sunderland fans in who he thought were OK but just as I got to the door a coach stopped at the lights and a load of Sunderland fans swaggered up. He knew me by sight and let me in then moved across in front of the Sunderland fans. He told them they couldn't come in. One asked how he could stop them all as there were 50 of them. He looked at the lad who had said it, put his orange juice down and said yes, that was true. But he wouldn't fancy being one of the first half a dozen or so. Much shuffling and pushing from the back but nobody at the front moved before they rather sheepishly turned round and shuffled off.

When Tony ran half measure, two groups were hell bent on fighting each other, until Tony calmly announced that fighting is allowed, provided they fight him first.

I seem to recall reading that he after he sorted out some local hard cases who were dealing drugs in Seacroft that he was later set about with weapons with fatal results.

I used to drink in a club that Tony and some of his mates ran the rugby team from, so saw some and heard more tales. I've never heard a bad word about him. He could take a lot of banter in good spirit too.

Pete. With the greatest respect. You're mental.

I'll have an office inside the house.

The shed is a wooden oasis for the storage of garden stuff, fish tank stuff and our bikes.

    And spiders.

we have very little garden stuff
we've just dug up the grass and replaced it with pebbles because the dogs would bring mud from the garden and spread it all over the office
we dont have fish tanks or bikes
we have spiders but my wife doesn't like them
