Its a forum. The new manager is big news. Fans will post.It will be by nature repetitive. And fans will inadvertently post at the same time.It shows we care. Cope with it
I can see your point. But there were already quite a few laudrup threads. valleygirl is allowed to post a new one, but I'm not? That's the bit I don't understand. Mine was just reporting that the Daily Mail was saying Laudrup would be manager within 48 hours. I thought that would be something that fans would be interested in. But I think it's for the fans on the forum to decide. If I'm wrong then the tread will disappear quickly, as do most threads on here. But the other point is that within the next few days there will probably be 10-20 new laudrup threads posted by all sorts. And I bet the mods don't delete them. They haven't deleted all those next manager posts. A little consistency would be good. If people don't want duplicate threads then they should all only post on the first thread and ignore the others. But without new threads some news would get missed, so a new thread is often needed, even if it is close to the original.
I can see where you are coming from, casual, but sometimes I get the feeling that perhaps you are merely chasing points. I have no wish to dampen your enthusiasm, but when I saw todays new thread,I did have a quiet groan. You are taking some stick hereabouts,so why give your detractors ammunition. As previously stated,I am not taking sides, just would like to see less duplication/triplification/quadriflication,etc., etc.
The answer is that some people here don't like me and they will complain whatever I do. But I'm not going to let them stop me posting. Although with Ash deleting my posts maybe my days are numbered. I can totally see your pit about duplicate posts, but at no time did anyone complain when others added duplicate posts, even though swan_and_only add 3 after mine. Then I add a 2nd and I'm the bad guy. I just don't get it. If Ash wants to delete my posts that's up to him. But I thought this was an open forum. Obviously wrong.
Duplicate threads sometimes happen inadvertently but if I post something up I have a quick look to see if there's anything similar. I know people have the best of intentions but it's really irritating. Easy to say 'skip it' but quite often some good comments will appear on one thread and be missed if you happen to look at another. Let's use our heads a bit, guys!

Didn't want to start a new thread . Lol. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18325287
I actually did pass a comment when smelter posted his thread,so you are not correct when you say "at no time did anyone complain". The simple fact of the matter is that there have been way too many new manager/Laudrup threads. Most could have been avoided by incorporation. Some posters,I suspect, have a need to see their names "in lights",and how better to achieve that than by creating a new thread? It's sad to see such conflict on here, but some clearly have an axe to grind against you. I used to get it on the bloob board, but hey,I have a broad enough back. Don't give them time of day now.
ok, missed that comment. It's one thing to pass comment on a thread but to start a thread like this with a blatant lie is just pathetic. I'll ignore them from now on and hopefully they'll ignore me. But I still bet there are at least 10 more new laudrup threads over the next few days. And I bet campioni doesn't complain about any of them. And I bet Ash doesn't delete any either.
"ok,missed that comment",no problem, casual. Hopefully, the fact that we are discussing the multi thread situation will make posters more aware of the problem, and things will improve.
I'll try! I suppose what we need to figure out next is which players Laudrup has worked with in the past that would suit our style and are available? I'm sure he must have a few he can bring in. And he must have some great contacts that could get us a couple of good players on loan. Exciting times.
I like this bit... Laudrup was reportedly a contender for jobs at Valencia, Benfica, Chelsea, Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United when he resigned as Getafe boss in May 2008 but took over at Spartak Moscow in September 2008. He was a contender for Chelsea job and now he's coming to us. Oh how things have changed in the last few years.
Lets just put this all down to grief and stress when BR left us, we all feel upset and agitated! I will admit the way some people go about their business on here is a bit off putting! we are all fighting the same battle to give our team the best support? I do not appreciate being called a Cardiff fan, girl or someone else! I am new to this forum, and decided to join because I needed to release the anger and tension out when BR left us. Disagreements to happen but when it goes to the point of being childish it doesn't look good on us! and I for one will admit to being caught up in some!
Most times in the past I've tried to "Control" the forum I've been accused of being a trigger happy nazi, so you'll excuse me for not jumping in and modding everything... What was it? Never cry wolf?....
Woah, Woah, Woah......casual, do not accuse me of deleting posts, that has not happened, and you know it. I deleted two threads, on of which was yours, because there were three threads and i kept the one with 3 pages of relies, instead of yours with 2 replies. As Scott has said, can't do anything without being shot down, lose lose situation this modding lark. How about you realise that me and Scott are trying to make it more of a pleasure to read this forum!!!
Who Cares..big deal someone started another thread on laudrup get a life FFS and grow up...dont post on it then its your choice and nobody elses...
