TF was trying to protect his investment and avoid the (presumably) substantial payments to MH & Co. Fair enough. He gambled to proect that investment and lost that money. We have possibly lost our PL stataus and the Board will have lost the gazillions from Sky / TV.

For folks who stated they wanted things done properly from the grass roots upwards, it is a right royal mess unless Harry can do the Houdini again.

For clarity, I am not being crtical of TF & Co. It is their money and they will do what they think is best to maximise their investment. I'm completely comfortable with that and I'm sure most of us would do the same. The question is, 'what next?', when things have gone so horribly wrong.
