I suspect Singingbluerinse was first in the queue for the fire drill
If you sell all your tickets for next week SB we will have to put super glue on all your seats and fit them with a abacus. Bring it on

When I saw the score at Fratton I thought some one was telling me a cricket score....you know 5 for 1. How many players got sent off then.........Did any one turn up.....or was it just the grounds men out there?

That would be the detestable Aussie way, of putting the wickets first, then the score, Beddy. 1 for 5.

Unless England were batting of course.

Clearly the Scummers are a one 'tubby' team, nothing to fear based on the showing against Blackpool, I still fancy us to win it and the Scum to choke as usual!<ok>

Fire drill should be about 2.30 next Sat but I think you might be kept into the final whistle SB .
If you forget the score SB, I will get a few of the lads to shout it across.

I think that all the Pompey fans will probably be kept in for a while, what with the bubble and all that. I don't know why the Pompey fans were let out at the same time last time out at St Marys. Had they been kept in for 30 minutes the home fans would have left and anyone hanging around the stadium could have received a friendly word from Plod to hop it. It could be an intriguing match and we all ought to savour the atmosphere as there is a fair chance that it might be the last derby for some considerable time.

What a short memory you have Possum ! Don't forget you Saints fans have "previous form" for this way of leaving the ground early - I for one remember the mass departure of thousands upon thousands of your fans the last time we visited your ground, with around 15 minutes play remaining !! <whistle>

Why, even yesterday evening at Blackpool's ground, one could clearly hear on BBC 2's excellent coverage of the match, the chant from the home team's jubilant fans of " Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio..............Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio", as many of your fans left the Bloomfield Road ground early, to presumably catch the bus home down South :emoticon-0106-cryin <doh>

Wd, play the Blackpool game back, it was Blackpool fans leaving all over the ground NO Saints fans as they were singing the song.
But yes you are right we did have a few leave early in our last encounter and all it did was remind me of a couple trips I had had to Falling Down a few years back.

Let us hope then for your sake Adam, that Nigel tells Mrs Lambert to keep her hands off Rickie in the "bedroom department", or his (*ahem*)groin strain won't improve before next Saturday :1980_boogie_down:

I have to protest. The original title referred to Summers at St Mary's which is absolutely fine. Why change it after all we would just put Skates in title.

It was originally 'SCUM' but it got moderated by a rather over zealous and edgy Meowth as he thought it might upset some scummers visiting our board!<ok>

Oh well done! You managed to get SCUM in block capitals and scummers in the one short sentence. Not bad. You did miss the opportunity to gratuitously throw in the words "fatty Lambo" although randomly added the post would not have been very coherent, not that you usually worry about that! Your posts are never about Pompey. They are always about Saints which even your fellow fans find odd.

Channon I beg to differ, this thread is about the possibilities of beating the SCUM at St.Fairy's! <laugh>

AND, I never refer to fatty Lambo, its always tubby Lambo<ok>

You're awfully pessimistic, considering next Saturday's opposition got dicked 5-1 at home last saturday.
