Gives the new man 10 games to settle in. I would call that a pretty damn good reason to sack him now. I'd just start chucking blocks of cash at managers like Klopp now.
Would far rather Diego Simeone to be fair, as his style of play suits the players we have better. He likes to play a 442 with narrow wingers. Klopp plays a 433/451 a system that wouldn't get the best out of both RVP and Rooney. It would have to be one or the other, unless Rooney plays wide a position he is uncomfortable playing
Kick rooney in the face. he gets poid to do as hes told. On 300k if someone at United tells him to crawl and live in a dead camel for the rest of his life I expect him to have already been there for a month.
Be fair to Rooney under SAF he was always prepared to do a job out wide or in a position he wasn't used to, but that was because we had Ronaldo. So you don't mind sacrificing Rooney to get the best out of a Ronaldo, but we don't have a player anywhere near as good as Ronaldo so we have to play our best players in there best positions, if we're going to see the best of them. Rooney's ability is waisted if you farm him out wide, as he's not a natural wide man
Said the same last summer and you ended up buying fellaini. What will happen if you get none of your transfer targets?
Utd's future plans are contained in matths famous briefcase, if only he'd share the contents and let us all in on the secret dossiers. please log in to view this image
Yeh we hired Moyes who was like a poor kid who hit the jackpot. He had no understanding of money at all.
In 2004/5 Liverpool had a coach who has a very good record in European competitons. In 2011/12 Chelsea had a world class defence. At present, Utd have neither. Add that to the strength of the Likely last 8 oppostion and its a very long shot. Not impossible but very very very unlikely.
If I had to put money on it, I would say 10 games into next season if we are still struggling. I wouldn't get your hopes up yet!
Its unlikely that United will overturn defecit but not impossible. If the team is ever going to get motivated again this season it should be after a loss to the rivals in a big cup game. Personally, I think united board has shown a lot of style and maturity giving Moyes ample time to adapt. (Didn't Fergie finish 13th in one of his early seasons?)
Even if we won every game from now we still would not get 4th. It is an impossible task now, our best hope is winning the CL, and we would need a total miracle to pull that off
