I used to chat to Jon (Cromer) on here a lot because we shared a love of travel. I know he was regularly on dialysis, so I guess what everyone is saying is sadly true.I went to a few matches with Alex, whose nic was maybe GrantHolt fan or similar? I know he was also not well and had to stop driving. Anyone remember him? Dear old canary dave was a good friend, and at least we were able to use our geriatric bus passes to get ourselves to the fabled chippy in Long Stratton. Managers come and go, but fans stay the course as best they can.

Hi All,

I am one of the original members of this board and back in the day would post extensive Match Day Threads which used to take me ages to put together, I had a relationship break up which hit me really hard so left and since then now only come on here very occasionally.

I fell out with one or two due to my politics ha, ha, and my disdain for Delia and her regime, especially Tony_Munky (whatever happened to him?).

Best banter I had was with Canary Dave (God rest his soul), we would argue a lot but always remained friends.
I still have his mobile no. on my phone and can't bring myself to delete it, that and his Facebook profile :emoticon-0106-cryin

I'll try and contribute a bit more now that I'm finished with bl00dy women! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

My god, very long time no hear
I too, very seldom appear,
But dear KIO
We all come and go
And contribute from far and near

I've often thought kindly of those
Whose banterings brought us so close,
Old names from the past
An ageing old cast
But from us this forum arose.

Good to hear from you
