    Can we? Whats our budget?

A capable Championship player who I imagine would only require modest wages. Plus he really spoke of his admiration to CP and think we could get the best out of him. Not saying he should be guarenteed a starting berth, but good enough for our match day 18.

    Do you mean Judge?

Whoever, we don't need any more squad players, we need to improve the first XI. A club always accumulates plenty of squad players automatically from intended first XI players who don't quite make the grade. The only players who it is acceptable to be filling the bench are quality players towards the end of their careers who cannot sustain 90 minutes week after week (for example, Fuller) and young players who are only a season away from becoming regular first-choices (for example, Evina).

Any player on a mid-career plateau who is only deemed good enough to sit on the bench is, frankly, someone we shouldn't be employing. In practice of course, every club will have a number of such, as not every signing can be a winner. Although CP's record with permanent signings has been outstanding. I can only think of Green as a disappointment among players we paid a fee for.
