That is actually a very good point . Rangers last season didn't get value for money from the players they brought in . This is what I was talking about when I said we need a vast improvement in attitude . Especially from so called SPL level players . As for sustainability . Only time will tell I'd say it's very doubtful though if there is little improvement on the park from last season .
Ye I should have said were meant to link to . The trials and tribulations of an internet phone user .
I'd personally be disappointed if Celtic players and staff did not want to win a treble this season after going so close last season, that should be their focus.
I wouldn't disagree with that . It's the banging on about it in the media that's the problem . Rangers should be looking to win every tournament they enter but I'd prefer if Durrant or anybody else keeps their gubs shut about it and shows a little respect to our opponents.
Well I'm in no position to judge if they were "Banging on about it" in the media because I have seen no evidence of it. What may have happened is the assembled press men asked the same questions they asked Celtic last season, Can you win the Treble, can you go further in Europe, you know, loaded questions? I would then guess the players etc answered in the Affirmative. What I have seen is Mark Hateley on the Official Rangers website making predictions.
In answer to the opening post probably not, but you never know. Considering some of the players they have brought in this season they must be in with a shout with that Ramsden trophy. Mind you we set that last year. George made a good point earlier about our priority being the league and building a good squad. I would go with that as well. We had hoped for that last season, but a lot of the bigger names did not perform. I desperately hope that we don't simply jettison the youngsters now we have a fuller squad. It would also be nice if we actually managed to play some football this season. All the same I'm optimistic that this season will be a lot better than 2012/13. McCoist also knows he has to get it together this season. It should be interesting.
I am not acquainted with the scheduling of the Ramsden Cuo, and why should I it is only Completed by minnows of Scottish Football and the odd new club starting off in the lower Recesses of our Leagues. I am aware the league cup final is played in the spring and the Scottish cup final is played at the end of the season. In all honesty and sincerity I cannot see The Rangers hanging together that long to Survive until then. Too much money going out not enough money coming in.
