The local press have been talking for a while about how he doesn't try in training, and generally doesn't put in the effort that players who aren't as naturally hold as him do. Think he's been frustrating the management a lot with his lack of application by all accounts.

Fair enough, I missed that, all I'd seen was that the coaches thought he was not at all up to scratch. The last thing we need is another injury prone centre back though.

When did I back him up exactly? I said I Pardew can do wtf he likes while were doing so well????? to be honest I'm sick of people saying I'm negative just because I don't just say what you do want to hear.

From what had been said, the club were more concerned how he came back - not putting in the extra graft - from injury more than anything else. I'd like to see him do well, struck me as a very good player, and he's been at a big club in a new country from a young age, I imagine it must be very hard for him to adapt. Fingers crossed he'll do well, for him and the club.

Does anyone else find it strange the way the club have seemingly handled Kadar compared to Ranger? Both young lads with attitude problems (one widely recognised, the other just suggested; both on here and in local media) but Ranger, with a much worse attitude, was getting first team training and a place on the bench after a couple of weeks in the reserves as punishment. Postition wise we're better off with forwards than centre backs so I would expect Kadar be given the punishment and bait of first team treatment over Ranger. Further more Ranger gets a loan deal and gets a transfer fee put on him while Kadar can run down his contract (even though bigger clubs were sniffing round when we got him). Kadar must be in a tougher position moving from Hungary at a young age compared to Ranger moving from London. Perhaps money has played a part?
