I think we'd be more than happy to pay those wages, it's Bayern that don't want to upset the apple cart (and their other players) by paying him those wages. It would put him up in the top tier of earners there so they would run the risk of several other players wanting to match his wages.
Not really - we'll do fine with Carrick, Fletcher or Jones as the defensive CM. What we need is an attacking CM a la Scholes, and Kroos would fill that gap perfectly. Just think of it: Kroos----Flet/Carr/Jones Mata-Rooney-Januzaj --------RVP Cos we haven't had a fantasy line up for at least a week
