I was trying (but clearly failing) to articulate an opinion that the way DT encourages others to exercise freedom of speech occasionally comes across (to me, at least) as a little condescending. As for the 'playing the ball' philosophy, I just hold the view that it is far better to tackle the argument head on rather than throw personal insults at the person that has made it. There are many cases on this board where personal comments are made and then passed off as 'just banter' afterwards when objections are made. I think if this is one's 'response of choice', then it possibly indicates a lack of maturity, intelligence and common courtesy.
I would agree with the OP to a certain degree I would start with Cisse and Zamora up front against Norwich at the expense Taarabt I am sure the team would be more solid and stronger up front even with our leaky defence

COL is an integral part of this Board and I won't hear anyone say otherwise. Nevertheless, Ruislip you are correct in that he finds divergence of opinion very difficult to deal with. Woe betide the man who criticizes Taarabt even when he's had an absolute stinker. I can't figure out why he idolizes him so.
