I have no idea why you were banned in the first place SN. Welcome back and just for you I'll try to find the time for a MDT agin the Magpies
Looks like the majority and glad to see you back SN .... pleased for you. Stick to GC when you have been drinking & all will be well
Gas Chromatography when he's been drinking! No no that's a terrible idea........send him to the Binners board, there'll be no one on there to offend! Bah!
I wish ................................................ Sausage sandwich! .......................................................No the Genie's taken his eye off the ball again! Bah!
I don't understand bans, Its a forum and you should be entitled to air your views as long as it's football related and no personal abuse.. If everyone sings from the same hymn sheet then what a boring forum it would be and pointless contributing.
Before my time, but I get the distinct impression some of the contributions weren't strictly 'football related'. Anyway, we're all of us older and wiser ...
I'd also be glad to have you back, SN23. Maybe bring us a bit of luck in the upcoming matches, especially if you encourage KIO to do the MDTs!
Think you´re missing the point slightly. This has got nothing to do with singing from the same hymn sheet, this thread is about allowing someone back, who has a history of being unable to control what he says / writes when he´s had too much to drink, and despite his remonstrations to the contrary, SN 23 can be very abusive when he´s in that state. Just because this is a football forum, rather than say a book forum, or a gardening or knitting forum, it does not therefore give people the right to act like yobs or morons, there has to be a code of conduct and people cannot just say anything they like, even if they are on topic. There´s absolutely no excuse for not keeping a civil tongue in ones head, even under the influence, and the fact that some don´t / can´t, is the number one reason for why so many good posters have left the forum over the years. and............... not entirely, but slightly connected to this - it beggars belief, or mine anyway, just how many people on here seem incapable of writing the simplest, straightforwardest of sentences, to get their point across, without using two or three swear words in the process. Never have understood what effect they think they are going to gain by doing so, in fact it tends to give less effect to the point they´re trying to make, as far as I can see. Must be getting old I suppose.
