Hope you're right, think they will be looking for a CM and a striker so Meyler & Campbell could be both here depending on who Sunderland sign

Bruce has now made it quite clear that Campbell is his No.1 target.

Campbell has said absolutely nothing about what he thinks yet, so all this is a bit previous.

He might be happy to wait until the summer, he might want to go on loan to show what he can do, to improve his chances of getting a deal in the summer.

Either way we won't go for Wood, not with Millwall, Leicester and the Udders in the running already, bidding wars in the January window are never a great idea.

I think if I were Campbell I would jump at the chance of getting regular first team football.

If reports are right and his father is wondering whether a drop into the Championship is in his best interests, he is completely dillusioned.

If he sits on the bench until the end of the season he MIGHT get a third class Premiership Club at the end of the season. If he bangs in 15 goals in the Championship between now and the end of the season, he proves he's still got it and he has choices.

Whatever happens we MUST set a deadline and if that passes we move on to plan B.

Meyler can be recalled whenever they like. The fact they haven't done yet suggests to me he won't be.

If Leicester sign wood and he carries on how e has been, they'll get automatic.

I'd rather have a striker scoring for fun in the Championship at the moment, than a striker from a Premier League who has done nothing in the past 4 years.

I would lead him on until the last 30 seconds before the deadline and then say no thanks. It is obvious that he thinks he can do better than coming to us, so **** him.

Boring Nigel has said he isn't interested in signing Wood - saw him quoted on the BBC site earlier, so that's one out of the running. Maybe worth entering the race instead of going for Prem primadonna's with ideas above their stations. Or should that me 'Premier Primadonna agents'?

He actually said he wouldn't discuss it, as Leicester play Millwall tomorrow, the local media there definitely seem to think there's a bid on it's way.

Put a bid out, perhaps our league position come january will sway him. Cant see Millwall or Hudersfield going up this year.

Bruce on tigers player said he had a few targets in mind and had already made contact to their clubs. Would be nice to know who the other players were.

Glad that he's keeping quiet about targets. Maybe Campbell is a smokescreen .

Maybe. I got the impression that it campbell was his number 1 target. It is good that he is keeping quiet about it, also suprising that there havent been any leaks.

Hmm, that could prove rather costly, let's see if Bruce brings in another midfielder to replace him. I didn't like him at first, but he got better the more he played.

Scores with his first touch at Old Trafford. Phil Brown bigs him up on the commentary - Bye bye Campbell transfer.
