The Echo are saying "At least 12 months".... with two such major injuries, you've got to wonder if the lad will ever fully recover. Sad as it is, I can see a Dean Ashton situation, out before his prime. I hope I'm wrong, and I hope he's back and banging the goals in soon enough.
You get morons of NUFC4LIFE's type, but you sort of expect that. Just take a look at some of the odious comments at the Hull City not606 pages after someone posted a link to the story here http://salutsunderland.com/2011/04/fraizer-campbell-sympathy-and-encouragement/ I know lots of SAFC supporters thought Kilbane and McShane were dire but unless I am being naive, I don't think we'd have seen them gloating about a career-threatening injury to either of them. Credit to the Hull fans who've said as much themselves.
Hull fans are bitter Frazier helped us stay up (and more) last season whilst they plummeted back to the CS. I don't understand this, Campbell was never their player, just on loan.
