From my viewpoint the contact between them seemed to start with a bit of back & forth, clutch & grab stuff, but a big strapping man shouldn't go down that easily, which sold the red to the ref - still a stupid action by Song and the ref only called what he saw.
Would that have bought a rugby player down? If not, its a dive. Its still a red though and incredibly stupid as the other guy just gave him a slight nudge.
Almost game set & match - I was hoping for a better game.....but there's always tomorrow and England.
Was about to post that Mbia was the least poor Camreoon player, until it was his lazyness that played Mandzukic onside for the fourth. Unforgivable, even at 3-0 down.
To be fair Norvege boy, the entire Cameroonian side look lazy lazy lazy. The keeper makes even BAE look committed Mbia must have covered more yardage than any other player on the pitch
Did anyone see BAE there???!!!!!! "Headbutting" his teammate, he's a complete knob. Didn't he do something similar with us?
Benoit Assou-Ekotto is still in a blind rage. Samuel Eto'o is having to hold him back in the tunnel to prevent him chasing after a team-mate. That could go on and on. From BBC.
What a tool! "And there was still time for the four-time African champions' full-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto to thrust his head at team-mate Benjamin Moukandjo during an argument in stoppage time." please log in to view this image Moukandjo (left) and Assou-Ekotto were involved in an ugly incident towards the end please log in to view this image World Cup 2014: Benoit Assou-Ekotto: No point playing for France please log in to view this image Cameroon defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto says he chose not to play for France because the country blames black players when the team struggles. The 30-year-old Tottenham full-back was born in France, but qualified to play for Cameroon through his father. He said: "When the national team get a bad result, they start to say there is a little bit too many black people, Muslim people and this kind of stuff. "I don't like it. There is no point for me to play for this kind of country." After starting his career with Lens, Assou-Ekotto joined Tottenham in 2006 and made his Cameroon debut three years later. Having helped Queens Park Rangers win promotion to the Premier League during a season-long loan, he is playing at his second World Cup. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27895655 Benoit Assou-Ekotto factfile Born March 1984 in Arras, France Position: Left-back Played 73 games for Lens Joined Tottenham in August 2006 Joined QPR on loan in September 2013 Made Cameroon debut in February 2009 and has won 23 caps Ever-present for Cameroon in 2010 World Cup
