I thought Stewart would go to Leeds - back when he had his injury and was on Twitter, all he used to Tweet about was being back at home for his mum's cooking. If he was back in Hull he was at Nando's. His mum obviously lives in Manchester - he went on loan to Burnley, then Blackburn - both not far from Manchester.... he came back fat and unfit. 2+2=? Maybe he's just lazy and wants home comforts. Leeds isn't too far from Manchester, so the ideal pick for him. Funnily enough he's got himself back in shape away from it all at Charlton, at a club whose fans probably don't demand so much of him.
As had been said on different threads by different people I don't think Leeds is the right place for him. Too much pressure and expectancy from the fans, and Leeds of all supporters I doubt will be too reserved when he ducks out of challenges or wimps out of a take on. Could work opposite though and drag him back into his old self by the scruff of the neck.
That has happened before, just see Gradel. Regarded by Leicester as talented but ill disciplined on and off the pitch, by the time he left us he was a model professional who Leeds fans loved as much for his tracking back and work rate as his exploits further up the pitch.
Can't argue with that. I hope he recovers his old form, I liked him. Tis indeed a risk given the fans recent demonstrations.
Charlton are now meant to be in for Grandin as well. As they've already brought in a Sweden U21 from their new owner's other club if they sign Grandin as well this could end up bad for us.
