Weed is so 70's, Valley boy "got any Charlie scouse?" Scouser "yes Taffy, I've got suitcases full of it, how much do ya want?"
I remember Colemendy as a kid with the school. And Llangollen - we had our summer holidays there and at night you could see the Milky Way (not the chocolate bar). Not all bad at all. My Kiwi ex, used to the Southern Alps, said the scenery in Snowdonia was as good as the South Island. Praise indeed. Beautiful country, North Wales.Except for the Blueshites.
I went to Colomendy 5 times with school when I was in Liverpool, it was a right of passage. When I first went I was 7 and we all thought it was far away. I had virtually never left Toxteth at the time so it was a great adventure. By the time I was in the sixth form doing Geography "A" level we had to go as part of the course, and also to look after 100+ first year kids so the teachers could bugger off to the pub every night.
