You can look minute by minute on the website Ron and decide as late as possible. If you are not getting in the main race you might not want your horse carrying a top weight in the consolation!
True, but if a horse is well handicapped in the main race it will still be well handicapped in the Silver. However, I do appreciate that running in the Cambridgeshire carrying 7-6lb, ridden by a good jockey weighing 7-6lb, is much more attractive than having to carry 9-6lb ridden by a jockey weighing 8.6lb.
Me too, again....Off to the shrink next week, "have to get there on time otherwise the character starts without me"*.... * (with thanks to Bob Newhart or Shelley Berman, can't remember which one).
. Remember that old one of the sign in a Hull shoe-shop window - "Buy one, and get the other one for free"...................
After all this malarkey, I still intend giving an amazing tip for the Cambridgeshire, even though no one is holding his or her breath. Stay tuned.
Unfortunately I held my breath for too long and I'm at death's door. But I overheard the doctor saying he could pull me through.
Actually, not true. I had found horses that met all the main criteria. I should really list all those who met any of the positive criteria and then eliminate those with negative criteria. Bugger.
Glad to see you're breathing again, Ron, take care. Have to wait for the going next Saturday, and if it's wrong, will have to renege on my amazing tip. Shame on me. Chicken!
