We would mate, but it should have been 9, that’s the bloody annoying thing, not being negative or owt. Agree about Pritchard get him for and firing, plus a striker in January, and who knows. A fit Pritchard will be the difference, and heaven knows if we get Embleton in the mood again
Not pretty and a right battle second half but for once we we're resilient enough to come away with a win. We shouldn't grumble with 7 pts from 9, just imagine how rosy it'd be looking if we'd have beaten Shrewsbury though! Tough game next week, we need to maximise the opportunity to get amongst that leading group though.
Portsmouth, in 9th, are only 6 points off top ... .... Newcastle, bottom, are currently 6 points off safety. I wonder who has the bigger chance of being in the Championship next season
Well I think today dispelled any notions of players giving up on Johnson. Credit where credits due, on the back of some poor results and a lot of key injuries, against a decent side with a good home record we've done a sterling job of keeping in touch with the top two. Over the moon and celebrating early with some juicy IPA home brew
Plymouth fans were singing grotesque songs today against Wigan about Charlie Wyke and then they broke into the Wigan end and started scrapping with them.
Cheers mate. We now have 4 home games to get ourselves together and ready for a big push towards the top two and semi-finals ... ... this club is a bloody nightmare
I haven't got a clue how we played no electricity, probably off till tomorrow. I do like the result though
Seeing Arsenal virtually in the champion league positions after the way they started has made me think, be patient Rooch be patient.
A nightmare we wouldn't swop for the world mate. We've had some shìtty lows but the few highs make it so much worth the while. We'll look back on this journey with some fondness one day soon
Gutted i missed the start of the game and goals as well as match chat on here but had to fix me fence. Didn't want passing charvas walking in me garden breaking in me sheds swiping me tools and home brew
****ers, I liked your post but obviously I don't. We need an Unlike button... (which I know we have after pressing Like but that's not the point )
I had the same thought this afternoon mate. I remember thinking when they appointer him he might turn out to be a good manager but they would neee to take their time because it was a club in a mess. He has developed a really young side and promoted from within. There definitely similarities, apart from the two divisions apart
I am impressed with Harris as well, nothing spectacular but he has good feet and a nose for a goal, involved in everything in our last U23 game , he and Wearne are the ones to watch imo.
100% mate. They both will be pushing the more regular lads in the next 12 months. I also have really high hopes for Sohna, but he is a year or so behind those two I think. They way he moves is what I like. I have a thing about watching footballers move across the grass, great ones look like they are gliding. Neil is like that. Sohna might be heading the same way, time will tell.
