Love it!

You must have gone for a drink the couple of times Saturday he passed it to the opposition, that or you had zoomed in with those narrow lensed field glasses on to Corkie and missed them :)

Everyone miss-passes from time to time, especially when you are actually passing it forwards! Even Cork did once:emoticon-0104-surpr But you have to say that compared to last year, Wanyama has been a revelation.

The reason why I was getting so worked up last season was because people were saying how good he was then not that maybe he could come good. Last year there were times that I thought he'd never make a Championship side let alone Champions League one.

I still maintain that we 'flow' better with Cork but there's no arguing with our defensive record and he has to get a lot of credit for that.

Tbf, on Saturday I thought we were an immediate better unit with Corky in place of Steven Davis. It just wasn't Davis's day, as he seemed somewhat subdued. Mind you, I think anyone would have been subdued in that bloody weather. I kept reminding myself that the players are paid handsomely, partly for being able to play in that stuff without bothering to notice it.

Which somewhat puts to bed that we are a team which is based on Schneiderlin and two other midfielders. I think we are best with that line-up, but I'd certainly like to see us function as a Wanyama/Cork/Davis setup for 20 minutes to see how they get on.

Of all the summer exodus, Chambers and Shaw were the two I was most sorry to see leave, simply because they looked like being the future of our club. And I do wish them both well at their respective, struggling, new clubs.
